Types of extensions and recommendations
A volume booster is used for clients who have naturally thin hair and would like to add some thickness to their hair. A volume booster is used for thickness rather than for length.
Half head/full head of extensions are used to add volume and length to the hair.
If a client has thin/medium thickness hair then a half head of extensions is recommended.
If a client has thick hair then a full head of extensions are recommended in order to blend in the extensions for a natural look.

– Nanobeads (smallest on the market)
Nanobeads are 90% smaller than traditional microbeads. They are extremely discreet and easy to upkeep. Traditionally used in all types of hair but recommended for clients with thin hair.
Microbeads are slightly bulkier and ised for clients with thicker hair as more hair is needed to cover the them.
Microbeads vs Nanobeads
Microbeads are silicon lined beads that are used to attach wefts of hair to small sections of the clients natural hair. The bead is then tightened to hold it in place. The beads are approx 3-4mm in diameter. They cause absolutely no damage, but they do need to be refitted every 3 months.
Best suited for clients with medium – thick hair.
Nanobeads are 90% SMALLER than Microbeads. They are applied in the exact same way. Nanobead extensions need to be refitted every 3-4 months. The tip of Nanobead extensions are either plastic or metal tipped which allows the hair extensions to be extremely flexible in the clients natural hair.
Best suited for clients with fine hair but can be applied to any type of hair as they are extremely discrete.
Pricing varies depending on your requirements. Contact Blush Salon to find out more and arrange a consultation.
